The Billing and Payments group (BPG) serves 1000?s of financial institutions and corporations providing solutions that enable best-in-class results for our clients. BPG business units provide billing and payment solutions, customer communications solutions, enterprise payment solutions, and other critical solutions for financial institutions such as fraud, treasury, lending, cash and logistics. With stable and fast-growing businesses, BPG is always looking to expand its team of over 6,000 + associates and build future leaders.

We are looking to hire a Vice President of Strategy for the Billing and Payments Group (BPG). This position is responsible for leading the planning and development of business strategy and key initiatives for the group businesses. This role will also actively engage and partner with the Business Unit Presidents and Senior Group President to ensure the success of priority business initiatives. The leader will lead a team who champions various tracks of work, primarily focusing on group strategy, individual business unit strategy, product market strategy, M&A strategy and M&A support. This position is professionally and personally rewarding for the leader who has the drive, ambition and confidence to embrace new challenges.

-¬  Abilities to synthesize market, industry, business and competitive information to inform key product and strategy decisions

-¬  Experience in developing and presenting business cases to secure capital and internal support from a broad range of executive partners

-¬  Results-oriented, inventive, and possesses the ability to handle pace and multiple demands and keep the team on plan despite contending priorities

-¬  Reasoning ability, strong executive presence, and excellent negotiation skills

-¬  Above average financial/business acumen, influence and organization skills coupled with top-notch consulting skills

-¬  Demonstrated thought leadership of meaningful external, industry, and regulatory trends

-¬  Ability to translate product strategy to top line growth

-¬  Excellent verbal, written and group communication and presentation skills

-¬  Solid results orientation with demonstrated track record of success

-¬  Strong executive presence with confidence, skills and experience to present and act as a representative to the executive team

-¬  Strategy Development

-¬  Long-range plan (LRP) and Annual Operating plan for each business Unit

-¬  Strategic projects including new market analysis, growth strategy, partner strategy, M&A strategy, etc.

-¬  Development of business cases for strategic growth initiatives

-¬  Sales strategy for specific markets

-¬  Market and competitive analysis

-¬  Cross-Business Unit strategy collaboration and support

-¬  Leadership support

-¬  Support BPG leadership to support internal and external strategy presentations (e.g., Annual Investor Day, Board meetings, CEO meetings)

-¬  Support mergers and acquisitions within the business group

-¬  Support and build models for buy/build/partner analysis and other business development activities as required.

-¬  At least 5 years of top tier Management Consulting Experience or at least 10 years financial or payments experience with corporate strategy development experience including leading a strategy team

-¬  A bachelor?s degree is required. An advanced degree is strongly preferred

-¬  A minimum of 3 years of team management experience desired


-¬  Ability to travel 30%.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
