What does an exceptional Project Manager do?


This Project Manager, Professional position will support the FRMS Security, Risk, and Compliance team by exercising creativity, flexibility, self-motivation and organization to efficiently drive security projects and related work efforts to successful closure. This position will partner with key business stakeholders typically within a single business unit, but usually across multiple functional areas, and who are globally dispersed.


Essential Job Responsibilities:¬ 


Act as a responsible, articulate, motivated, and organized Project Manager who can quickly identify vulnerabilities and obstacles, and then create innovative solutions to drive success. Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote a shared vision and actively manage to expect project outcomes. Proactively communicate project progress on an on-going basis endorsing transparency throughout project lifecycle. Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.



  • Provide a holistic view of the FRMS Security, Risk, and Compliance (SRC) audit statuses and activities including, but not limited to: track and manage various audit engagements from start through remediation, if necessary to close.

  • Track security exception submissions and statuses through to approval for both initial submissions and exception renewals.

  • Maintain the FRMS SRC SharePoint site; coordinate with technical resources to add/edit SharePoint workflows used within the various Risk and Compliance processes.

  • Manage, track, and facilitate regular cadenced and other security, risk, compliance, audit projects that come up throughout the year.

  • Partner with the client, client partner, account managers, service manager and other key stakeholders to determine program/project objectives and critical success factors.

  • Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected program outcomes providing predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery.

  • Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the program/project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout program/project.

  • Proactively communicate the program?s progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout program/project lifecycle.

  • Be able to self-motivate with decisive actions operating under general supervision with substantial latitude for independent actions and/or decisions Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery Manage third party relationships involved in the overall implementation project to include scheduling activities, maintaining budget control and insuring deliverables are properly defined and completed on schedule.

  • Communicate all changes to schedule and scope on a timely basis Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations¬ 

  • Display strong understanding of the organization's business strategies and apply knowledge to all project activities Build and strengthen business partnerships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Oversee FRMS SRC requests and assignments for each sprint, acting as Scrum Master, including, but not limited to: Facilitate sprint planning meetings, daily scrum meetings, etc.

  • Ensure that committed work is completed on time.¬ 

  • New requests/priorities are added to the backlog, and any required re-prioritization of activities is completed Monitoring defined intake mechanisms to ensure proper tracking and assignment.

Required Qualifications:


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree is required. Will consider equivalent experience in Project Management or Financial Service Operations Project Management in lieu of degree.


Basic Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager or equivalent position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Project Management tools such as MS Project.

  • Confirmed experience in full lifecycle project management processes and methodologies.

  • Experience in driving small to medium size projects within a matrixed organization environment.

  • Hands-on experience working with external clients during project delivery and system training.

  • Technically competent with various software programs including, but not limited to MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint); ServiceNow

  • Excellent verbal and written communications.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master?s Degree or industry certification.¬ 

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Agile Scrum Certification, PMI, or equivalent.

  • Experience in Financial industry and/or Retail Manufacturing.

  • Experience in ITIL, Lean, or Six Sigma.

  • Experience interacting successfully with C-Level leaders.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
