Position Description

What does a great Manager, Program Management do?

You will deliver a portfolio of program and project outcomes within time, cost, quality and customer happiness parameters for strategic initiatives to our largest and most complex clients within Finance Risk & Management Solutions (FRMS).

Being a successful Program Manager means leading project teams and critical projects by providing direction to team members daily along with being responsible for the highest priority, most complex projects and programs, driving them through initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

As a Manager, Program Management you can look forward to:

  • Having oversight and management of multiple program/project tracks of work, using various skill-sets ensuring a consistent usage of standard practices. Providing leadership, vision and executing plans on our most complex accounts and initiatives across multiple lines of business.

  • Ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery you will be partnering with the client, client partner, client executives, service partner, service executives, and other key partners to resolve program objectives and critical success factors.

  • Achieving operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

  • Providing a holistic view of a client?s overall program/project portfolio to the client organization and all partners by communicating the portfolio changes, solution maps, and performance reviews.

  • Defining the program governance by outlining roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and clearly defined critical issue path.

  • Ensuring success criteria is defined upfront to promote alignment and actively lead to expected program outcomes.

  • Providing dashboard reporting to key partners.

  • Keeping all partners (internal & external) engaged in the program/project, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring.

  • Dedicatedly communicating the program?s progress on an ongoing basis, ensuring transparency throughout the lifecycle.

  • Providing leadership and key partners with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.

  • Leading multiple account projects with matrix management/influence across company.

  • Meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

  • Participating in business development activities, meet with prospective/current clients to develop program planning as appropriate.

  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor?s degree

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience or relevant consulting experience

  • Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industry

  • Experience working with client facing projects/ with Conversions and/or Implementations

  • Knowledge of and validated experience in project or program management processes and methodologies, as well as, project lifecycle

  • Experience in driving large scale programs/projects and accounts

  • Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams

  • Familiarity with Project Management tools

  • Ability to travel up to 15% within the United States.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Previous projects that dealt with Data Centers and Disaster Recovery

  • Supervisory/Management experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
