Director, Program Management, Credit Union Solutions

Position Description

What does a great Director of Project Management do? You will be part of the leadership team leading management and oversight of the Program Management Office for Credit Union Solutions (CUS). The Director should be a forward thinker providing strategic direction and collaboration with peers and leaders across CUS and Fiserv to seek for near and long-term delivery improvements that drive quality execution and improved client experience. This role is responsible for project and program management staffing for product development and special initiative for the diverse set of product offerings that makes up CUS. Project/Program portfolio management for one or more of the CUS products is included in the set of responsibilities assigned to the Director; as well as, people care and management for a team of high performing project managers, program managers, and portfolio managers.

-  Build positive relationships and engagement across multiple levels within an organization

-  Accountable for the successful delivery of business results tied to the most complex projects and programs across multiple business unit portfolios. Direct/Indirect budget management, 1-1.5 MM based on program, project, or release activities.

-  Monitoring and management of annual portfolio of projects. Design and develop improvement opportunities to gain efficiencies of project methodologies, deliverables, reporting and training to mature capabilities in service and delivery.

-  Align team with CUS Project Management standards, processes, and templates. Collaboration with designated Business Units on PM intake prioritization, options and staffing decisions.

-  Responsible for the optimization of talent, measurable goals and accountabilities, driving actionable development plans in alignment with desired competencies, and acquiring talent through competency-based hiring practices.

-  You will be leading critical issues when business results are at risk. Collaborate with Enterprise Technology Teams across division to ensure client expectations are met and division goals achieved.

-  A leader with shown project and program management discipline, that is well organized, and able to drive engagement across organizational boundaries. Able to think and act strategically and tactically within a technical discipline and from a broad business perspective

-  You will lead large organizations through transformative business process change efforts and possess self-starter/self-directed skills to lead with high energy and passion

-  Ability to exercise with utmost discretion and independent discernment and ability to multitask and meet deadlines, ability to communicate, both verbally and written, formally and informally, with a high level of confidence

-  8+ years leading large-scale delivery of programs and projects which includes development and integration as well as leading professionals within a distributed team environment

-  Experience with application development projects utilizing a software development life cycle and multiple methodologies

-  A Bachelor?s Degree in an IT, Business or a management related discipline

-  Strong leadership skills and experience in building positive relationships, strategic partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders/customers.

-  Excellent social skills with shown ability to lead complex matrix teams across geographic and business unit boundaries. Excellent negotiation, conflict, and discernment skills to balance Fiserv and Client goals.

-  Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes and/or data center moves. Experience in talent development and/or organization development and process oriented.

-  Experience with Clarity / Ideation / Service Point or Service Management processes

-  Financial industry / Credit Union industry experience is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
