CEO - Chief Executive Officer Somerset is assisting Peachtree Orthopedics (?Peachtree?) in their search for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The physicians and staff at Peachtree are committed to serving patients in the Southeast United States.
Peachtree Orthopedics' physicians are known for their diverse expertise and offer a unique approach to medicine with highly specialized treatment options and the finest medical and surgical care.
Peachtree has thirty-four board certified or board eligible orthopaedic surgeons, and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, fellowship trained in sports medicine, hand and upper extremity, foot and ankle, and total joint reconstruction and spinal surgery.
They also employ twenty-one physician extenders (physician assistants and nurse practitioners). Peachtree has eight clinic locations (Alpharetta, College Park, Cumming, Duluth, East Cobb, Northside Atlanta, Piedmont, West Paces) which include MRI,
X-ray, physical therapy, occupational therapy and ambulatory surgery centers.
Peachtree also provides team physicians for the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Swarm, Gwinnett Stripers, Atlanta United FC, US Ski Team, multiple collegiate and local high school teams.
CEO direct responsibilities include: Assisting the physician owners with governance and strategic vision of the practice enterprise, including development of a master strategic plan for the organization. Overseeing and managing physician growth including heavy emphasis on the development and execution of strategic initiatives, managing and directing growth opportunities with existing services, new markets, service line, facilities and locations.
Evaluating and managing the administrative team, working on a daily basis with operations team, directing payer and employer group contracting, ensuring sound financial performance and guiding the practice through the ever-changing health care environment. Leading and directing the staff, including the organization's administrative team in management of all the business, human resources, financial, strategic, compliance, and regulatory aspects of the practice.
Developing and managing relationships
with external partners and stakeholders; hospitals, referring practices, insurance companies, other specialty and orthopedic groups A track record of successfully managing a large and complex health care entity is essential, as is possession of the leadership skills to guide and motivate members of the staff.
An advanced degree in health care administration, business or financial operations as well as ten years of executive-level experience is required. Prior medical group practice experience and orthopedic group practice management experience would be ideal.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
