Sr Financial Analyst

Position Description

What does a great Senior Financial Analyst do?

  • Prepares monthly reporting of expenses for functional senior leader and their direct reports

  • Drives discussions with functional senior leaders on their respective reporting, planning and to recommend efficiencies / cost savings

  • Participates in quarterly, annual and multi-year strategic plan

  • Ensures accuracy and transparency of reported and forecasted results

  • Performs ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management

  • Performs monthly close and forecast tasks

  • Coordinate and partner with the Business Unit Finance Team to ensure key business drivers and are reported and evaluated

  • Strong hands-on approach to learn business and current complex planning/forecasting models

  • Utilize systems and data to perform complex analyses to resolve difficult business and customer issues

  • Improve methodology for financial analysis techniques and financial reports

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar

  • Minimum of 3-5 years business related experience

  • Strong organization skills to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while responding quickly to management requests

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite of business software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word to create financial models and presentations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to effectively communicate results to leadership and internal clients

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships throughout the organization

  • Excellent time management skills

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • MBA preferred

  • SAP experience preferred

  • CPA preferred, if no MBA

We are seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious finance professional with a strong work ethic to join our Card Services Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst.  The primary focus of this role is to help drive profitable business growth by providing strong financial planning, reporting, analysis and modelling services for effective business management and corporate governance.  This Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Card Services Manager of Expense and will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis process for this $850M Fiserv business unit.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
