About the Role:¬ ¬ A Senior Business Systems Analyst at Fiserv plays a key role in defining business needs and functional solutions for Fiserv?s award-winning suite of online banking products. By applying your personal expertise and group facilitation skills to identify, interpret, and define business needs and features, you will be supporting the process to visualize, document, and communicate functional product solutions that impact the daily lives of millions of online banking users. As a Senior BSA you can demonstrate your ability to function independently and be fully responsible for the complete execution of all BSA activities and deliverables for software development projects end-to-end. You will also be provided the opportunity to move Fiserv into the future by mentoring junior BSAs, as well as work with a wide range of smart and dedicated BSA?s in a Community of Practice across the globe. There¬ will be¬ growth opportunities for you as well, as Fiserv provides both management and technical growth paths beyond Senior BSA.


About our Business: Fiserv?s Digital Channels business unit develops software solutions that allow banks and credit unions to provide online banking to their customers. Our solutions support online banking on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones with a user interface that automatically adapts to each device. In addition to standard banking capabilities, we provide many cutting-edge features, including multi-factor authentication, remote deposit capture, merchant funded offers, and targeted marketing campaigns.


Essential Job Responsibilities:¬ ¬ 



  • Quickly learn complex product systems, services, structures, architecture and features, in order to become a subject matter expert

  • Work within a SAFe Agile Framework as a member of product-line Core Product Teams and Delivery Teams

  • Participate as a member of the Core Product Team member to collectively plan and drive product releases. Drive Feature Exploration and Release Planning exercises.

  • Participate as a member of Delivery Teams to supply functional and non-functional requirements, manage a prioritized backlog of feature and user stories (as delegated from the Product Owner), and managing/facilitating various sprint ceremonies

  • Identify stakeholders and facilitate discussions or workshops with the purpose of eliciting and understanding stakeholder needs, requirements, and priorities

  • Document the work items completely and unambiguously, satisfying the needs of development, quality assurance, technical communicators, and other internal customers and stakeholders

  • Explore and experiment with different approaches to improve processes and situations

  • Actively strive to provide the highest quality products and services which meet the needs and requirements of your clients

  • Provide support and guidance to other members of the team and demonstrate willingness to share talent for the good of the organization

Required Qualifications:


Education:



  • Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology and/or related field


Job Related Experience



  • Minimum of 5 years in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role

  • Working knowledge of delivering software product¬ in an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Experience managing a backlog of¬ features and¬ user stories encompassing functional and non-functional requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team through requirements development and release planning processes

  • Financial service industry experience

  • Hands on technical experience with web services and complex system integrations


Additional Skills/Knowledge:



  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor others in the BSA role

  • Demonstrated strong skills in analysis, organization, meeting facilitation, writing, editing, communications, and decision-making

  • Ability to advocate the BSA function in the absence of a peer or local based Manager

  • Familiarity with online banking/electronic commerce field

  • Past experience as a developer would be beneficial

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
