Position Description

What does an outstanding Software Development Engineer do?


As a Software Development Engineer, you can look forward to making a true impact. Your role is critically important to our success in providing Image Conversion services for our client base. With the number of Bank acquisitions, the importance of moving data from dissimilar systems is growing every single day.   • Providing this service to our clients is a major win. This makes us unusual in the industry because we do all this work internally

  • You can expect constant change. Anytime you feel you have mastered a conversion of data from a vendor, the next one will be different.

  • Every team member relies on one other for ideas, support and affirmation on project plans. You will be a part of a highly motivated team.

  • You will build/modify VB code to process data

  • You are responsible for design modules, functions, routines for other team members

  • You will perform data analysis, use SQL, testing output, file types i.e.:(TIFF, JPG, PNG, XLS, DOC, PDF, etc.)

  • Coordinating Testing with your clients

  • Work with storage devices, SQL Admin, Microsoft Server environment

Basic Qualifications for consideration:



  • One year VB.Net development and Database Administration experience


Preferred skills/experiences/education:



  • A Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

  • Knowledge of VB.Net.

  • 3. Knowledge of Windows Servers and Desktop operating systems.

  • 4. Knowledge of SQL database administration

  • 5. An understanding of how critical project completion is to client happiness.

  • 6. The ability to communicate with external, as well as, internal clients for the purpose obtaining feedback on performance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
